Upsy Daisy

I've always wanted this stamp set since I was introduced to Stampin' Up! a while back.  I have to admit though I found it hard to know what to do once I had it!  I decided to go with Tangerine Tango and Old Olive and give this stamp set a world.  Here is what I came up with.  I guess I could call this technique stamp tapping although I'm sure there is a term for it that I haven't come upon yet.  So I loaded the daisy stamp with Tangerine Tango ink and then tapped it with the old olive stamp pad.  I kinda like the way it turned out.

Just Believe

I have to say that the Just Believe Stamp set from Stampin'Up! has to be one of my favorite sets so I think it is fitting that the first card that I post to my blog be made with it.  This is also the first time I use Marina Mist cardstock in a project and this color is absolutely beautiful especially coordinated with Basic Black.  Hope you like it!

Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Marina Mist

My first post

So I'm new to this blogging thing and I think I'm rather bad at it.  I should probably ask my husband, the expert to explain this to me before I try and post any of my work...more to come!
